Animation artist
Hello!
My name is Danielle Reygel, and I've been working in the animation industry for 11 years, in various roles, working as a texture artist, 3D modeler, colour key designer, and now as a 3D Layout Artist.
I've worked on several TV shows, including Inspector Gadget, Ranger Rob, Fancy Nancy, Muppet Babies and currently I'm working on Paw Patrol! I've done freelance work designing characters too.
I'm enjoying my current role as a 3D Layout Artist as I get to see everything in the early stages of a production and make use of my planning skills, making sure shots thought out in 2D storyboards will work in our 3D environments, and working alongside other departments to catch problems early on.
It's also a great experience for improving my eye for cinematography and has given me a great appreciation for this art form.
I enjoy doing illustration and making art in my spare time, trying to do less on the computer and more with my hands at the end of the work day. I've been experimenting with Stop-Motion animation in my spare time, and would like to create my own Zine in the future.
